While I don’t really like the sound of the alarm clock on a Monday morning, Monday blues is never a thing for me. I always wake up knowing that I am doing something that I’m passionate about, and that I am surrounded by a good team of people at work.
Our clinics can get fairly busy, and everything has to work like clockwork. Everyone who comes through the door is greeted with a smile and they will be taken care of even before they see the doctor. In fact, many of the processes we have in the clinic to improve patient comfort and care are suggested by our staff.
The reason for that is because the team of people in our clinics are people with great “heartware”. These are people who have a heart for exceptional service and who genuinely care for our patients. And thanks to this team, I know everyone who steps through our door will be in good hands.
A heart for service excellence
We held a “Staff Excellence Awards” on 9 May 2022 to acknowledge my team members who demonstrated top performance in areas that the clinic managers feel are important for the smooth running and management of the clinics. They were evaluated by their peers and managers on not just customer service but also on teamwork, innovation, professionalism.

Long service awards
On the same day, we also held an appreciation ceremony to commemorate the two-year service anniversary of six team members. I am proud of the work family and the contributions each and every one has put in.
